Hunting for Mini Beasts

Hunting for Mini Beasts

Children will love hunting for little mini beasts in and around your garden.

Simply arm your child with an ice cream tub or empty jam jar (adult supervision is required with young children and glass).

Make sure you have made little air holes in the top so your creature is able to breathe for the short time it is captured.

Then moving around the garden look underneath flower pots and loose bricks and stones for your creatures and put them into the pot to examine them carefully.

You can even have a competition to see who collects the most !!

Older children may enjoy drawing pictures of the creatures they collect.
